Kathy Michelle Chacón is a film critic and scholar whose work has been featured at Paste Magazine and Film Cred. She was born and raised in California’s Inland Empire before receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Cultural Studies from the University of California, Riverside. She has been selected to be part of the 2024 class of Gates Cambridge Scholars at the University of Cambridge, where she will pursue an MPhil in Film and Screen Studies this fall.
